The late, great Mitch Hedberg was a unique stand-up
comedian…when he was on top of his game he was one
of the best on the circuit, other times not so much.
I enjoy his humor and play him on the show whenever I can.
Here he is at the Montreal Comedy Festival, and doing well.

RIP Mitch, you will be missed.

I like this one for the silliness of it all…men dressed
up like women who pretend they are men is one of the best
comedic twists EVER..for starters.
Absolutely splendid!

Corky and the Juice Pigs have long been a staple on
shows like MadTV, Comedy Central, CBC Radio and TV in
Canada and, of course, Comedy 101 Radio!
They broke up quite a while ago but their spirit most
definitely lives on…and then some.
This video has something for the strange and twisted
crowd (yours truly) AND the Halloween lovers out there!
I am in firmly ensconced in both those camps and feel
that I have no choice whatsoever in showing this.

You don’t see groups like this around anymore…what a pity.

James P Connolly is a stand-up comedian that, in a fair
world, would be far more famous than he is.
His insights, delivery and stage presence are all top
notch…one of the best out there right now.
This is a great piece, lots of laughs here.

I like good, old fashion, campy horror movies!
One of my favorites is a National Lampoon production
called Killer Clowns from Outer Space!
Lots of great moments in that flick, this is one of them!

Halloween is coming!

Heywood Banks is VERY good at what he does.
If you ever need a quick cheering up you could do a lot
worse than listen to one of his wonderfully eccentric
songs…he writes and performs them with gusto!
Here he is with a song about a puppet.
You can feel Halloween in the air, can’t you?

One of the best stand-up comediennes on the circuit is
Maryellen Hooper, she makes me smile and I give
her lots of airplay.
I last saw her perform live at the Montreal Comedy Festival
a few years ago and was quite pleased, laughing out loud
on more than one occasion.
Here she is in all her glory!

John Heffron is a very funny stand-up comedian.
He has a certain way of looking at life that we can all
relate to, his voice and delivery make the connection.
Here he is talking about the things that our parents
