Sidekick Heaven

Riders in the Sky with a nostalgic look back at the days
when western movies were made and quite popular.
Scruffy, perpetually annoyed and ornery as all Hell
best describes the cowboy’s sidekick.
Gabby Hayes was the standard by which all were judged.
He fit all of the criteria listed above.
This is pretty fun…

Cover Crops

Greg Warren comes from the mid-west but he is not what
you would call farm savvy.
Not usually a problem unless you are at a state fair
surrounded by a dozen or so burly corn dog eaters who
detest the very ground you walk on because you made the
mistake of admitting that you like green beans.
This is a funny bit by one of the best stand-up comedians
on the circuit, some great lines here…

Comedy 101 Radio 7.28.22

Got a little strange this week.
Well represented were Canada, The British, and the Good ol’ USA.
Kellen always impresses.
Wildlife, Food, Love, and Death Blocks.
Seemed like a good idea at the time.
Tom Smith with a clever one.
Rowan and Angus with a superb sketch.
Lewis gets the top spot.
Onward and Upward…

Pledge Vote

This is a cool little scene from the classic 1978 flick Animal House.
They are voting on the list of Animal House pledges, sorting through
the multitude of names of some of societies most respected men.
Sort of.
Fresh meat really, they’re not shooting for quality, quantity only.
The late, great Stephen Furst played the role of Flounder, the Zero
referenced in the title.
A pretty entertaining slice…
