A 4th of July Independence Day show!
I played a lot of new material this week.
I started the show with my personal tweak to the
late, disgraced Joe McCarthy by playing something
by a REAL American…Pete Seeger!
Stan Freberg was prominent, I love playing his
material on the show.
His vocal talent pool were the best in the industry.
And he was no slouch either.
Paul Frees, Helen Kleeb, Peter Leeds, June Foray,
Jesse White, Barney Phillips and Byron Kane round
out the superb cast of voice artists used here.
Lots of holiday related material with a heartfelt
tribute to the recently departed Carl Reiner.
