starting when they were still quite alive, healthy,
and loving it.
He talked, and joked, about his father’s failing
health and his bout with cancer.
Fast forward a bit, his father has passed away
and his mom still looks for him to argue with.
In short, a classic long married couple with the
usual contentions.

Whenever I walk past a well used outhouse I
think of my late father.
I’m not being harsh, my mother’s favorite phrase
was “How can anything smell that bad and still
be alive?!”.
