The Hostage

This is a great piece by Kurt Weitzmann.
They don’t make good radio friendly comedy
sketches anymore, considering the fact that
radio is slowly dying it does make sense.
Still, I lament.
This is imaginative and quite interesting.
Is this your first time in a hostage sketch?

You’ve Changed

Michael Loftus is a pretty decent stand-up comedian.
I love to play him on the show.
His shtick is snark, irreverence, and a bit of bewilderment.
He does quite well.
I don’t quite get the negative responses he receives, it
makes no sense considering the approvals his peers get
that are only half as good as he is.
Judge for yourselves, this is a set that I play on the show
and it seems like the same bit he tracks on his recording.
Not a bad effort at all…

Killed By a Coconut

A Shel Silverstein original as sung by Bob Gibson and Shel himself!
The two were friends, Bob was a folk singer on par with Bob Dylan
at one time back in the 1960’s and Shel was right there with him.
They worked together on a recording right before Bob died of
cancer, and Shel passed from a heart attack.
Timing is everything in life, and death apparently…
