A classic Bobby Bare tune written by Paul Craft back in the mid 70’s.
Bobby brings a certain style to his songs, his voice is superb on this.
I love to play it on the show…

A Stand Freberg classic, from his legendary recording
Stan Freberg Presents “The United States of America”
Volume 1, The Early Years.
A god like figure in the early days of radio, he was superb
at just about everything he did.
This recording showcases his voice over work, writing,
and overall production skills.
His fame and talent allowed him to work with the
absolute best of the industry…Daws Butler, June Foray,
Paul Frees, and a ton of others.
Superb stuff, nothing better then or now…

Jim Gaffigan with a thoughtful piece reflecting
on Thanksgiving.
He has gotten better with age, the snark flows
freely within him, he has seen the mirth.
Some great lines here…

This week will bring large amounts of Turkey, Stuffing,
Pumpkin Pie, and Football.
You can eat the first three, you can kick the last one.
Just sayin’, they don’t come with a manual.
Bananas at Large with an ode to the gridiron…

Tyler Boeh with a logical inquiry as to why popping a
a blue pill might not be timely.
He makes a great point…
