One of the best of the lot!
Stan plays Ben Franklin, Byron Kane as Thomas Jefferson.
A GREAT back and forth between the two, Ben plays it cagey
and a bit aloof while Tom insists on a signature.
Lots of inside references and puns, with great interplay.
As good as it gets in parody and satire, Stan Freberg was one
of a kind.
Some GREAT lines here…

Tim Wilson with an overview of pyrotechnics in the deep south.
I grew up selling the stuff when I was a kid, my father had some
serious Chinese connections in Boston, everything you could think
of was on those boats and I knew and lit them all.
There is nothing quite like Chinese fireworks, seriously well designed.
Good visuals here…

Even more brilliance from Stan Freberg and his marvelous
voice over artists.
Stan plays George, Peter Leeds as the Boat Man and Barney
Philips is the Lieutenant in this superb piece.
The emotions are the key here, it is remarkable how they
convey it, brilliant writing and acting is evident.
Top shelf in every way…

A classic 4th of July piece from Paul and Storm.
Johnny never gives up on his obsessions, that can
sometimes be a good thing.
This is not one of those times…

More of Stan Freberg’s magic off of his award winning and
highly recommended recording Stan Freberg Presents the
History of America Volume One: The Early Years, from 1961.
The voice artistry on this is like nothing you’ve ever heard.
Some of the best that ever lived…June Foray, Peter Leeds,
Jesse White, Stan himself and the incredible Paul Frees.
Helen Kleeb plays Betsy Ross in this one and she does a
superb job, top notch in every way.
Stan himself plays George Washington and it is classic.
A wonderful piece in every way…
