Paul and Storm with a tribute to all you mothers out there.
The real ones, not the ones who use a leaf blower at seven
in the damned morning!
I hate my neighbor.
This is a fine example of twisted gratitude…

That Which Does Not Kill Her…

Mom Always Liked You Best
A real signature piece by one of the best comedic duos
to ever hit the stage.
These two owned television when their show was on.
It was as cool as you could get, and it moved way past
that point so much that it was singled out for cancellation
for it’s non-mainstream political opinions.
In other words, they were too smart and the powers that
be shut them down.
They toured until a short time ago, and I regret never
having bought tickets.
Superb stage work here…
A Day in the Life of a Mother!

Mom’s All Star Pills and Tin Foil
Two classic Kathleen Madigan pieces in one offering.
Seriously funny stuff, from one of the very best ever.
Some great lines here.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Happy Mother’s Day!

Oedipus Rex
An ode to mother/son relationships everywhere as sung by Tom Lehrer.
Satire on a higher level is Mr. Lehrer’s claim to fame.
He takes an ancient tale and twists it something fierce.
Gotta love it…
Offspring Found the Murder Button

Comedy 101 Radio 5.5.22
A hybrid show of sorts, a little graduation and a lot of mothers.
I got to know a lot of good people this year from the local
university, I started to play Magic the Gathering again with
their strong urging and developed some great relationships
with like minded and much younger folks.
It was a great year for bonding, the tale end of the pandemic
pushed that in the right direction.
The graduations mean that I have to say goodby to some
really nice people.
What’s the old saying? “Don’t lament the parting, smile that
you had the time together!”.
Quite right.
The Mother’s Day part of the equation has a large amount of
novelty material to gather from, boy does it ever.
Throw in a few requests and you have a decent show.
A classic from Tom and Dick.
I got a perfect copy of Cloud 9 Motel from a great guy in
Australia, many thanks to Mr. Weird and Wacky.
Farquahr was a great party band that did the New England
circuit back in the day, so good at what they did I have to
keep them alive.
The Frantics with a smart one.
John Mulaney has a clever mind.
A twofer from the legend known as Tom Lehrer.
Lots of mom stuff, as it should be.
Happy Mothers Day!
