Thanks Misfortune Cookie, Thanks a Lot!

This is a pretty humorous look at old crimes by John Mulaney.
The old days before the advent of DNA blood work it was
ridiculously easy to get away with murder.
He puts in the spotlight in such a way that you cannot help
but smile, some great lines here…

Tom Lehrer with a great little ditty about the old Alma Mater.
Tom attended Harvard as a student, then as a teacher, making a
name for himself as a mathematics professor and a brilliant
satirist of the top shelf variety.
It is finals week and graduation for most colleges, a tribute of sorts.
Makes me nostalgic for the old days…

This is my favorite scene from The Three Amigos.
A classic slice in every way.
Superb acting and screen presence make these two
actors really stand out in this one.
Not a great movie, but it had its moments.
Like this one…

A classic bit of stand-up comedy from one of the best ever.
The late, great Richard Jeni was one of the greats, one of
the best snark artists to ever hit a stage.
Astonishment, confusion and snark in that order.
Superb stuff, some great lines here…

I get a request for this every Spring.
Steve Goodman himself was a huge Cubs fan.
He certainly took this song seriously, a nice touch
all in all…
