I too was on a basketball team, warmed the bench
with a skill rarely seen in Biddy League B-ball.
I once made a lay up for the other team.

Jerry Reed was born back in 1937!
As a solo artist he was noted for his song writing,
singing, acting and all around sense of humor.
He also was part of a great little band called The Old Dogs.
Mel Tillis, Weyland Jennings, Bobby Bare and Jerry, all
veterans of country western singing fame.
Here he is singing a humorous little ditty about being honest!
That is the goal at least…
