She’s Dead

A great little ditty from the superbly talented Jim Infantino!
Off of his “noplace like nowhere” recording, a humorous take
on human emotions and relationships in general.
One of my very first interviews, oh so many years ago…

On This Day in History

The Late, great Harold Ramis was born back in 1944!
His comedic rap sheet goes way back to the National
Lampoon Radio Hour days, slides into the Animal House
years and forward onto SCTV, that wonderfully Canadian
television parody that ruled the airwaves back in the 80’s.
He had a hand in Ghost Busters, Caddyshack, National
Lampoon’s Vacation, Groundhog Day and many more!
Talk about success.
We must remember Mr. Ramis.
I played this piece on the show this past week, Harold
plays the coach…

Doomsday Preppers

Kathleen Madigan is one of the very best comedians ever.
she has consistently brought her best to the stage, year
after year, never failing to make me laugh.
She has more classic material than most comics have material.
This is a great piece about paranoia and the folks who embrace it…

Happy Noodle VS Sad Noodle

The late, great Logan Whitehurst was a real talent!
His imagination set him apart from the rest of his
contemporaries, and his skills as a musician really
elevated him above the pack.
This is a great animation from RWappin, really makes
a nice addition to Logan’s efforts…

On This Day In History

Dick Smothers was born back in 1939!
The younger but older brother of Tommy, Dick has been
entertaining us for many years with his unique brand
of humor.
Folk singers by trade their outstanding contributions to
American mirth cannot be stated enough.
The Smothers Brothers are far more important than just
being comedians, their social stances are legendary and
a real plus in this day and age.
Tommy is older but he states the opposite in their
performances, it works quite well.
Happy Birthday Dick, may there be many more!
A nasty fall into a tasty treat…
