Anthony Griffith is a great stand-up comedian!
He has a good stage presence, keen insights and
a delivery that is very unassuming and quite
friendly, and he’s funny.
Living with multiple sclerosis slows you down a bit,
but he’s still one of the better ones on the circuit.
A very gifted performer, I highly recommend him…

Laraine Newman was born back in 1952!
One of the original members of Saturday Night Live
back when it was funny, 1975 to 1980, Laraine
started her comedy career with the legendary Groundlings.
She is still quite active as an actress, voice actor and
writer and attends the odd comic-con or two when the
mood strikes.
Happy Birthday Laraine!

The late, great Dr. Seuss was born back in 1904!
Theodor Seuss Geisel, as his mom called him, was a
real American icon of the highest order, selling
more than 600 million copies, in more than 20
languages world wide, of his immensely popular
children’s books.
Horton Hears a Who!, The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs
and Ham, and of course, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
were some of the more well known pieces that he penned.

Henry Cho is a great stand-up comedian that I love
to play on the show!
He grew up in the deep south and a lot of his humor
springs from that, a stranger in a strange land one
might say.
He’s got a good fluid stage presence and I highly
recommend him, one of the better ones on the circuit.

The great Harry Belafonte was born back in 1927!
Not a pure comic by any means, but he’s a heck
of an entertainer, and he has done some
humorous material during his career.
Like this classic bit from the early sixties.
