Oedipus Rex
Not to be confused with Tyrannosaurus Rex.
That would be bad.
This is a classic Tom Lehrer piece from his
college days (chuckle)!
The fifties were a strange decade, lots of repression
and insecurity with the Cold War, and other considerations.
It did indeed create some wonderful opportunities.
Tom Lehrer is one such example.
A great artist, one of a kind.
Smart as a whip and twice as likeable.
Happy Mother’s Day!!!
Warm Water, Not Hot!
Mom and My Brother Bosco
Just Tenuta with a funny bit on her Mom and a certain sibling!
Just you wait…
Get Me Something to Beat You With!
Mom Always Liked You Best
The Smothers Brothers with a classic piece of hilarity!
I played this on the show this week, a wonderful example
of stage banter of the wittiest kind.
Let’s go smoke some Crayolas…
Two Birds, One Stone
Mom’s Coming to My House
Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie with a Tongue in Cheek

Best comedy band name EVER…
And Not Decaf!
Mother and Son
Mike Nichols and Elaine May with a classic comedy
routine about calling your Mom!
Or not.
This was done back in the 1950’s but is still just as
poignant and funny!
They were quite a team…
