Hey Rocky
This zany little performance is centered around
a pretty cool cartoon that was all the rage on
television in the early 60’s.
The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show was unique in that
it poked fun at various institutions, popular
figures, politicians and just about everything.
Featuring the superb voice over skills of the
late, great June Foray it was a trend setter
of sorts, if it poked you…you were cool!
The cartoon is still being quoted more than fifty
years later, mostly by us old folk, it had many
great things to keep you laughing.
From 1986, the extended version of a classic…
That Settles That…
New Baby
Michael Jr. with a funny story about
being a new Dad!
Actually, it’s about being an old Dad
with a new baby.
It would be really weird if he was a
new Dad with an old baby.
Wouldn’t an old baby be an adult?
Baby’s not the only one drooling here…
Duck!
Wrong
Eugene Chadbourne with a superb tune about being correct!
Or not.
He’s an interesting fellow, a talented musician with a
non-conventional approach to the craft, loves to
experiment and improvise.
I believe this to be a lament of sorts…
Assume the Position
Whipped Guys
Josh Harris with a flick that says “Whipped”!
And I don’t mean “Cool” either.
We do what we have to do, if we want to
“keep the peace/piece”… 🙂
Face Palming Cherub
For a Fist Full of Cole Slaw
Emo Philips with some of his classic material from
the Live at the Hasty Pudding Theatre recording!
When he started out there was nobody quite like him.
There still isn’t.
He’s smart as a whip, hard working and one of the
funniest people on the planet.
He may not make it into everyone’s favorite Top Ten
list but he’s a very consistent stand-up comedian
that always makes me think and smile.
I’ve seen him live and am a better mammal for it…
