My Home Town
It’s that time of year where I live, all the towns are starting
to have some sort of Ol’ Home Day or some such revelry.
I can’t help but think of this Tom Lehrer classic.
Pretty accurate, strips away the facade, tells it
like it really is.
There is nobody quite like this man, I’m very glad that
he exists.
From the classic Copenhagen performances back in 1967…
Geronimooooooo…
Quicksand
This is hilarious!
Strange, but hilarious.
I’ve always loved this series, it has dementia where
others do not, my kind of humor.
Acceptance is relative…
Roman Numerals
The Frantics with a very witty sketch about
the decimal system and the folks who loathe it!
Some of the smartest comedy on the planet has
come from Canada, and the Frantics are the top
of that heap.
The grumpy Roman in this skit could be played
by just about any American, sad to say.
Great piece by one of the best…
I Thought it Was the Overbite
Old Murders
John Mulaney with a classic piece from his large
collection of humorous observations!
I really do like John’s humor, it’s got a good
hunk of New York in there but that’s what makes
it special, he tells it like it is.
Excuse me while I shoot my name into the wall…
