Bears and Bikers

Cy Amundson is my FAVORITE new stand-up comedian!
A tremendous story teller with a very keen eye
on digging deep for the mirth.
This is one of my favorite pieces by him, a set
that I edit down for the show, just a bit, to BLEEP
out the profanity.
I say that because I cannot edit a YouTube video
but I really want folks to hear this.
The following times will reference some naughty
bits that your grandmother would only utter if she
stubbed her toe on a large piece of heavy machinery
:25 1:29 3:55 4:14
Not that I really feel that it needs a warning shot
across the bow but there are some folks who listen
to the show and watch these posts that appreciate
the lack of profanity contained therein.
I’m not offended, the story is MUCH bigger than
the expletives, and that’s how I judge these things.
I really can pictures the events unfolding, that’s a
sign of a superb story teller…

One More Minute

I’ve always said that Weird Al Yankovic’s original
material is far better than his parody efforts.
This piece is a classic example of why I believe that.
Dark, funny and quite cynical, gotta love it…

Acting Like Zombies

A great slice of Shaun of the Dead where the gang
tries to get back to the pub by impersonating the
ghouls they’re trying to evade!
There is so much to like about British film making,
the accent on the little things is what sets it apart
from the usual Hollywood flick.
Subtle stuff like the facial expressions just kill me
in this movie (pun intended of course).
Not to mention a Zombie in a wheel chair, that’s hilarious.
One harsh little dollop of profanity at the 1:12 mark, send
the Archbishop out for milk…
