Comedy 101 Radio Playlist 9.13.18

An entertaining show this week.
New material from Adam Ferrara, that’s always
something to look forward to.
Adam’s a great stand-up comedian, one of the
better ones on the circuit.
The amazing Rodney Dangerfield is still getting
requests, I guess dying wasn’t the career killer
everyone thought it would be.
His one-liners on that set were classic!
Kyle Kinane is a very special stand-up comedian,
one of my favorites.
The piece he does here is an absolute stroke of
comedic genius, hilarious in every way!
A cool show…

Attitude

The Old Me

Mike Phirman with a great little ditty about
changing with the times!
Bettering oneself through self improvement
is almost always a worthy endeavor.
Sounds like he’s really changed, we’ll give
him a chance… 🙂

Your Face (Homer Version)

Bill Plympton, and Dan Castellaneta, at their finest!
Kinda puts a cool little spin on the original.
The pathos is still there, the humor spikes a bit
more with everyone’s favorite jaundiced cartoon
character in the spotlight.
Love the faces, Plympton is a real talent, nobody
quite like him.
A wonderful Couch Gag, one of the better ones…

Bring on Armageddon

Christopher Titus with a really nice piece on the end
of the world and the people who deserve to go first!
I have always liked his stand-up comedy, play it on
the show every chance I get.
Acerbic, intelligent, irreverent and very funny, there’s
nobody quite like him.
His confidence is a huge part of his act, combining that
with a self deprecation approach to his craft and you
have one superb comedian.
He’s on fire here…

State Fair Woman

It’s that time of year again!
Larry Weaver with an ode to the fried dough
chewing, cotton candy munching, bandana wearing,
farm babes we all know and lust after.
Did I get enough stereotypes in on that one?
I jest, but it’s actually better than going to
Walmart, there’s something about flip flops
and cow manure that really turns me on.
Yes, I take meds…why do you ask?
