Your Face
An absolute classic by Bill Plympton!
This is entertaining on many levels.
It’s a bit sad, a love song like no other.
It has hope, and instills same.
Sight gags.
Pathos.
Lots of that last one, LOTS of that last one.
Not pure comedy, but tomorrow’s version will be!
😉
Dreaming of Air Fresheners and Beano
Angry Animals
Tommy Ryman with a live set on crabby animals
and the folks who provoke them.
He’s a funny stand-up comedian, lots of character
and a stage presence that’s interesting to say the least.
His newest recording is quite good, I highly
recommend it.
And yes, five in the morning is way too early to start work…
Big…Thick…Hard Books
Shaving Cream
Talk about classics!
This gem is from 1946, the artist is Benny Bell.
Double Entendre’s abound!
I play this song knowing it’s naughty.
Of that I care not a wit.
It could have been worse by a long shot.
This space could have been filled with some…
Barry Has Quick…Hands
The Simpsons…Jokes I Didn’t Get
When I was a Wiiiiii lad!
Cartoons with dual messages, one for the kiddies
and another for the grown-ups, have been around
for ages.
Looney Tunes added to the mix first, throw in a
little Bullwinkle J. Moose, stir in some Scooby-Doo
with a sprinkle of Animaniacs, and mix well with
The Simpsons.
Goes back quite a ways, a standard approach to
the funniest animations out there, mix in some
adult fare and you have a cartoon that kids AND
their parents can watch together.
Some great lines here!
And you knew there would be…
Therapy in 10…9…8…
Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Josh Sneed with a humorous lament!
He is confused, and rightfully so.
You’ve been told all your life that’s
it’s bad and then suddenly the world is
okay with it.
Video games, video games…
