Some Have All the Luck

The Amoeba People with one heck of a well sung yarn!
These guys are a hoot, usually a very cerebral group
that celebrates all things scientific, here they sing a
pub tune that inspires me to imbibe a pint or three.
A nice cold Canadian lager sounds about right…
This is a killer scene from Monty Python’s Life of Brian!
I find it hilarious on many levels, the irreverence alone
is worth the price of admission!
So many stories surround this classic flick, John Cleese
was originally slated to play Brian but he stepped aside
so Graham Chapman, his writing partner, could take
the role. Rumor has it that George Harrison had a bit
part due to his ultimately funding the movie after all
other options backed off because of the controversy
over the subject matter. Superb acting from the gang
they were on top of their game on this one…

Dan Cummins with a snarky overview of nobody’s
favorite superhero!
He raises some great points.
Take away the tall buildings and all you’ve got is
a scrawny dude in pajamas who can’t keep a
girlfriend…
It’s a new year, and with that comes uncertainty and confusion.
Hey, I’m dark, did you really think I was going to praise the
upcoming months as the magnificent Dawn of a New Era?!
Nope.
I’m just supplying the mirth, you folks are on your own when it
comes to optimism and focus.
Life is a roller coaster ride and as you well know when the ride
is over we’re right back at the beginning, where we started.
Naked, crying and ugly as hell!
As far as metaphors go that wasn’t my best but the day, and the year,
are still quite young.
Some new material this week, with lots of older classic pieces thrown in
for good measure.

Frank Zappa was a very talented fellow and musician.
Frank was also a few fries short of a Happy Meal.
Some say many fries, a burger and those goofy assed
trays it’s all served on short of a Happy Meal.
It’s awfully hard to explain Frank to someone who
doesn’t know him.
Let’s start here…

Meatwad, Shake, and Frylock had their heart set on a
cool dip in the pool, Carl wasn’t so sure.
His home security system had the last word.
If its works for you, in YOUR tax bracket…
