Heywood Banks with an ode to felines!
Especially the cold, stiff kind that no longer
cough up hairballs.
He’s a funny guy, lots of imagination and the
wacky attitude to go with it.
He’s a pretty decent musician, good with a lyric
and carries a tune better than most.
Sounds terminal…

So NO to Swervies!

Jason Voorhees at Home
I have often wondered what the criminally insane do
in their private lives.
I’ll bet they’re just like you and I, except bat-poop crazy.
Judging by this documented footage Mr. V seems quite
focused, highly goal oriented, adept at planning, and
in great physical shape.
And let’s face it, all he really wants is to stop teenagers
from having unprotected sex.
He seems very misunderstood…
Let Me Rub that For You…

Arriving Home Late
Nate Bargatze with a humorous look at his comfortable wife!
Safety should never be taken for granted, especially if you
have serial killers in every room.
One cannot be too careful nowadays…
Slowly Crawl Back Out…

Growing Up Poor
I’ve posted this classic piece by Michael Jr. in other
versions, it’s well done and quite funny.
This one takes an interesting turn at the end, he gets
honest and opens up a bit.
All comics fabricate large portions of their act, being
creative while remaining credible is one of the goals
of a good stand-up comedian.
I really like this guy, he’s down to earth and quite funny…
Be the First on Your Block…

Money
Big Jim Buchanan, the alter ego of Paul Frees, with a
superb song about the root of all evil!
The late, great Mr. Frees was a talented voice artist
with many accolades to his name.
I especially liked his work with Stan Freberg on his
Stand Freberg Presents The United States of America
recording from 1961, a very strong presence on that album.
He dabbled in acting a bit, his role as a reporter on the original
War of the Worlds flick from 1953 was quite notable.
His voice is so legendary that it is included in the Haunted
Mansion attraction at both Disneyland and Disney World.
He was also the voice of Boris Badenov in the old Rocky and
Bullwinkle Show, gotta love him for that!
This is a great piece, resonates even today…
