Da Vinci’s Notebook with a clever tune about dropping those unwanted pounds…quickly! Great harmonies from these guys, it’s a pity they are no longer together. They do live on in Paul and Storm, two of the four original members of DVN. I highly recommend either, both as good as it gets…
Rhett and Link with Forest Patrol! Today’s episode has them looking for the elusive Dongle. Maybe not elusive. More of a in your face mofo with a strange sense of humor. A very strange sense of humor…
This is a superb piece of stand-up by the late, great John Pinette! He looks a little tired but his timing and his material were quite good. This is a really funny set, lots of laughs here…
I did something on this show that I’ve never done before. George Carlin, unlike a lot of other stand-up comedians, liked to refine a joke over time, improving upon it until it became what he wanted it to be. A great example would be his superb Baseball/Football piece. He did one earlier in his career, refined it while touring and released it again on another recording years later. I played the early version at the beginning of the show and the improved (in MHO) towards the end. The difference is stark, the early version is good but the later one is much better. It’s always good to hear from Diane Ford, she is terrific. Bob and Ray with a real howler. Is there a better stand-up comedian out there than Daniel Tosh? Doubtful. New material this week, some classic stuff, and the usual comedic Shephard’s Pie…

Mike Phirman with a song for the Type A in all of us! I do believe he desires what you possess. Welcome to planet Earth. Mike’s a funny guy, all he does is worthy of show consideration. Now do what he suggests…
Robert Klein was born back in 1942! Comedian, Actor, singer, and producer Robert has had a great career over the years. He produced a few comedy albums in the 70’s that I glean much material from, a good fit for the show. Happy Birthday Robert, may you have many more! This is off the New Teeth recording (1975), great satire that carries well into the new millennium..
