…To My Humble Commode!

This is a pretty funny set by the very talented Tim Young!
I just downloaded a bunch of his material for playing on
the show, I should have it available by weeks end.
He brings some visual assets to his act, he’s a great audio
only kind of stand-up comedian, good for a radio show,
but he also adds facial and body expressions that do
enhance his overall performance.
Every stand-up comedian has their own style, with varying
degrees of audio/video ratio, Tim has his Mojo working on
both sides of the equation.
I laughed out loud at parts of this, a great set…

Last one, I promise, for a little while at least.
This is a tremendously dark version of the piece
that I posted earlier this week.
If that’s even possible.
Originally written by Leon Payne back in 1968, It was
covered by Jack Kittel in the early 70’s and here
again by The Beasts of Bourbon in 1988.
This band, especially the lead singer, has some serious snarl!
Take it ALL in, the background is just as interesting as the front.
It is certainly not comedy, but a little WTFIT?! every now
and then is good for you.
You are welcome…

An absolute classic by the legendary Peter Cook and Dudley Moore!
Typical well written British comedy dialogue, with a one-liner
that might just be the best ever.
An imaginative and interesting sketch, very well done…

Kathleen Madigan with a great story about her family
and living in southern California!
I love her stand-up, very full and rich, with plenty to
laugh out loud at.
One of the very best ever, she is an institution.
This is funny stuff…

An interesting show this week.
Great stuff from the usual suspects with a
few requests thrown in for good measure.
A strange coincidence, I played “I Lost on Jeopardy”
by Weird Al Yankovic and a few tracks later “Pancreas”
by Heywood Banks, and just as it started playing it I
realized that just a couple of days ago Alex Trebek,
the host of Jeopardy, stated that he was just diagnosed
with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
I had already programmed the show BEFORE that
announcement…I certainly didn’t mean to make light
of his condition.
I mean, I’m dark but not THAT dark!
I’ll take “Callous Radio Show Hosts” for 100 Alex!
Ziltch Fletcher has the hiccups.
The Android Sisters have something on their line.
Peter Cook has nothing against Dudley Moore’s
right leg.
A funny one by Don White!
Drew Hastings needs a mechanic with goat
removal experience.
