This is a snippet of what Mitch Hedberg could do when
he was hitting on all cylinders.
He was not what you’d call a consistent comedian, he had
his up and his downs.
I’ve seen some of his bits where he was just superb, others
had me yawning and shaking my head.
I’m not knocking him at all, life on the road can do things
to you that slow you down and sap your strength, I do
understand how that can work.
I love to play him on the show, his top shelf material is
always good for a laugh…

An eclectic show this week!
Played some material that I haven’t heard in a while.
Rowan Atkinson sat in with some of the Monty Python
gang to do one of their classic sketches, that was a treat!
Threw a Woof Block into the mix, just for fun.
It was good to hear the late, great Country Dick Montana.
Googie Man is silly, but I play it once a year just cuz.
Percy French wrote one of the tunes today, back in 1877!
A little trivia…he penned the wonderful “Abdul Abulbul Amir”,
a song done by many performers over the years, this week
by Hank Thompson, and sold it to a publisher that was less
than honest, resulting in many artists taking credit for the ditty.
A howler by Kyle Kinane, I posted it today as well…superb.
Gotta love that bedtime story by Kip Addotta!
Comedic phrase of the week…”And that’s how the capital got its name!”

The Four Postmen with a clever and quite humorous
look at career goals and aspirations!
These guys are great performers, very good musicians
and a superb stage presence make for a good time.
He seems unsure…

Monty Python does it like no other, there has never
been a sketch comedy group as close to perfection
as these folks, probably never will be again.
This is from the Monty Python Flying Circus BBC
television episode that aired back in 1970!

This one has a little twist at the end, if you are used to the
audio only version you will not be familiar with Erid Idle’s
character (Mr. Leavey) presenting HIS version of flats after the initial
John Cleese (Mr. Wiggin) presentation.
This has both, a very well done piece…

Kyle Kinane got locked out of his microwave, he details
that trial and tribulation with superb alacrity and snark!
He is a seriously funny man, unlike any other comedian
on the circuit with a style all his own.
I highly recommend any of his material, his story telling
is right up there with the best of them.
This is a great bit, very funny…
