Arthur Dent, Ford Prefect, Zaphod Beeblebrox, and Marvin the
robot have taken off in a space ship.
They’ve landed, looking for Trillian who was kidnapped by the
Vogons and led off to an alien city at the end of this large expanse.
They are heading in the right direction, when they encounter
beings that do nasty things to you if you…think.
There’s a lot of controversy around this movie, it does not
follow the book enough for the purists, I somewhat agree
and it was a bit of a distraction at first, but it is very much an
entertaining watch with some scenes as clever as it gets.
That’s what I love about Douglas Adams, lots of things to
ponder with his stories, a very smart man with a wicked
imagination, he has much to offer in his stories.
The word play is wonderful…

To show you how cool the whole series is, this is actually
from the International Space Station, on Towel Day!

Maryellen Hooper with a funny piece on driving
and not driving, the latter by way of accident!
I think she’s a very funny lady, goofy in a good way.
Saw her at the Montreal Comedy Festival and was
quite impressed, definitely brings forth the laughs.
Steer clear of here when she’s on the road though…
