Greg Warren is a pretty darned good stand-up comedian.
He has it all, great timing, stage presence, delivery, and
the material is interesting and quite humorous.
I’d see him live if the opportunity arose.
This is a great bit, a little finicky on meeting new folks…

Fishin’ Worms
Heywood Banks off of his Treated and Released recording!
A song of Spring, around these parts this time of year folks
are rushing to the lakes, ice-out was just a week ago and
they’re chomping at the bit.
Hmmm, not sure a horsey metaphor was appropriate there
as I’ve never seen more than a few equine angling on the
shoreline at any given moment.
Heywood is a great performer, I interviewed him on the
show more than a few years ago and have the utmost
respect for the funny man.
He has some great ideas on how to properly use a little wiggler…

Quentin’s Birdbox Orchestra
A new religion?
Yet another YouTube ASMR video?
Proof that hallucinogens are bad for you?!
None of the above actually.
The Home is remodeling Quentin’s “room” and
the prevailing wisdom was that leaving him
alone for a few minutes in the back yard
wouldn’t be a problem.
They were wrong.
The mailman is missing a finger.
Housing for wrens is at an all time low.
The kid next door has a broken bedroom window
and his clarinet is missing.
This is what happens when the fetus is deprived
of oxygen in the womb.
Let that be a lesson to you…

Dangerous Things Our Parents…
Let Us Do!
John Heffron with a humorous bit that made
me flashback to when I was a wee lad.
Stayed outside until it was pitch black out,
could barely find my way home.
Usually one of the neighbors would hear me
standing in their backyard going “Weeeeeee!”
pop the door and point the way back for me
all the while wishing me good cheer on my
journey home… “Get the @#$% off of my lawn you
little lunatic!”.
Brings back memories!
Hates Consonants!

YuppieDrone
The slightly dated but still quite entertaining
performance is by The Pheromones.
These two guys, James J. Patterson and Alan
Johnson, were really big on the touring circuit
back in the 80’s and 90’s, sometimes logging
over 200 gigs a year.
Old school…Yuppie.
New school…Nouveau Riche.
Different terminology, same condition.
The lyrics cover all the bases, some great lines here…
