Here’s a grand little ditty about getting it all
off of one’s chest.
Ed’s Redeeming Qualities was a New England
based band that specialized in quirky, humorous,
and ultimately very interesting tunes that we all
can relate to.
They were big in the 80’s and 90’s, I can remember
when they sent my radio station a cassette tape of
this recording around 1991 called It’s All Good News.
I started playing it right away on the show.
They have a few other pieces that I give air time to.
Gone but not forgotten, their efforts will live on.
“Sort of like the Pogues, but with more teeth…”

This is a great way to end a movie, on an upbeat
note with pathos, empathy. and humor!
This wonderful scene is from Men in Black 3, the
third installment of the Men in Black series that
aired in 2012.
Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones meet up after a
long ordeal to save the Earth yet again, square
things up a bit and hit the bricks, ostensibly to
do it all over once more.
Griffin was a nice addition to the flick, made it
just a tad more cerebral…

Tommy Johnagin with a humorous look at
the shifts in attitude we all encounter.
He has a point, they swing in one direction,
not so much in the other.
Tommy’s a funny guy, I play him on the show
to good reviews.
He’s quirky, smart, and has delightful insights
into the human condition…

This wonderful little lament is by John Forster
off of his “Helium” recording from 1997.
Polar opposites are in full regalia here.
The lyrics are just sublime, he has earned all the
accolades he’s received over the years.
He got a really nice review from the great Tom
Lehrer for his excellent and distinctive song writing.
One of the best, smart humorous songs from a master…

You Suck at Cooking with yet another scrumptious
looking culinary adventure!
I’m a veg-head myself, I’ll try this recipe without
the beefy type substances.
It also makes it less awkward if I invite any cow
friends over for dinner.
All is good in YSaC land, my mouth waters every
time I watch an episode.
And as a bonus you can play Lasagna Tic-Tac-Toe
after you pull it out of the oven…
