Not MY parents, that would be Kathleen Madigan’s
mater and pater!
This is a funny bit, off of her first recording appropriately
called The First CD.
She has always been great, one of the best stand-up
comedians on the circuit.
Top ten of all time on my list, and many others, as it should be.
Her descriptions of the parental units are hilarious.
We all have quirks and being a parent myself I can relate to
a few of theirs, some things are shared by all.
And when they’re not home, they’re not home…

I played this on the show recently and a
caller asked me if that was The Big Yin.
Yup!
Billy started off as a folk singer, slowly but steadily
migrating towards comedy as things progressed.
Married to Pamela Stephenson, formerly of Not
the 9:00 News, he has been an actor, comedian,
musician, and artist.
His bio is a very interesting read, he easily could
have been a casualty of the times…abuse, neglect
and the general hardships of growing up during
World War 2, but he worked hard and focused to
became the legend that he is.
This is a superb performance, he gives it his all.
I’ll bet he ‘s still looking for those two bits…

Now here’s something Stan Lee never talked about.
Why certain Avengers were picked for the team.
I would have said yes to the Black Widow myself.
Not so for the William Tell wannabe.
Thor liked him though…

A short but very sweet piece by the late, great
John Pinette, off of his first recording “Show
Me the Buffet”.
Some very funny lines here, John was on top
of his game on this one.

John Pinette would have loved this show.
I made a JP sandwich…Burger, Salad, Burger block.
And a Testosterone block as well (kinda).
I’ve grown to love the mini-themed show.
Little spotlights of humorous endeavors.
Allows me to blend together comedy that you
wouldn’t normally hear, even more so when I
go with the usual Music, Sketch, Stand-up
rotation that I adhere to.
It makes it interesting, if nothing else.
I just love to hear anything by Daniel Tosh, he
has the irreverence and snark down to a science!
Bobby Bare at his best.
