A classic from our friends in the Great White Nord.
This can be found on a couple of their recordings,
Russell’s Shorts and Hindsight 20/20.
I thought I’d post this gem, it’s the Lego variation.
The Arrogant Worms at their very best!
Rippy the Gator at his very worst…

Another superb example of Canadian humor.
The Frantics are as good as it gets in the world
of comedy sketch groups, only Monty Python
has a higher profile and that’s saying something!
This is a clever piece, all about change and how
some folks just aren’t eager and willing to accept it.
Since the beginning of civilization there have always
been those that spurn progress, just cuz’…

I was at this show in Montreal back in 2003!
When Emo Philips was hot he was one of the best
stand-up comedians on the planet.
He’s a lot smarter than most people think, a very
learned man with a wonderfully strange sense of humor.
I speak in the past tense, of course Emo is still an item.
Just as funny as when he first started in the business.
This piece shows you how his mind works.
Slow and very deliberate, always good for a laugh.
Pourquoi?
Pourquoi pas?
🙂

Don’t we all.
Napolean XIV, the alter ego of Jerry Samuels, with a
catchy little ode to those that drool!
I myself have an advanced degree in drooling, on a
good day I can water my garden from the porch.
The neighbors appreciate my existence, they all
have cameras.
Rock on, Jerry…

From one of the funniest movies ever made comes
this gem of a scene with John Vernon and James
Daughton, as Dean Wormer and Greg Marmalard!
National Lampoon’s Animal House came out in 1978
and it is still THE best College flick to ever hit the theater.
So many great pieces I couldn’t make up my mind what
to post, this scene is noted for its very quotable lines.
There are better ones but this sets the stage for what
is to come.
John Vernon was perfect in the role of the head of the school.
Lots of superb actors in this film, not a bad one in the bunch.
More to come…
