What is a Plethora

Federal law mandates that I play this magnificent
piece at least once a year.
From a somewhat underrated flick that came out in
1986 starring Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, and Martin Short.
The Three Amigos was written by Steve Martin, Lorne
Michaels, and Randy Newman.
I kinda liked the movie, it had some great scenes
in it that some would consider iconic.
Like this one!

Sweat the Small Stuff

Steve Goodie has some of the best sounding
comedy songs out there.
His sound quality is excellent, the lyrics are very funny,
and the subject matter is as good as it gets.
All in all a great performer of novelty songs, I love to
play him on the show.
Great lines in this one, especially when his girlfriend starts
to complain in the background…

Uncle Buford

Da Vinci’s Notebook with a grand little piece from
their 2002 Brontosaurus recording.
The sounds on this one are stupendous, their
voices are very distinct and really add to the mix.
I had an uncle like that.
Notice I said “had”…

Outdoors and Camping

The late, great John Pinette with a slice of his superb
2006 recording…I’m Starvin’!
I have seen John in better form, but not by much, his
performance is pretty darned good, with some of the
classic material that we’ve come to know and love.
This is probably the only gig at the Montreal Comedy
Festival that he’s done that I have not seen.
John truly was a special comedian, very unique with
talent to spare, one of the only stand-up comedians to
always make me laugh.
Some great lines here…
