Hammer Safety

With the Amoeba People!
These three guys are a hoot, they’re also as smart
they come, one’s a teacher and the other two are
interested bystanders, all from the planet Crouton.
They beam science based musicality back to their
home planet for data extraction and betterment.
Don’t take their jocularity lightly, they do the research
for whatever scientific endeavor they are involved with.
A lot of it is tongue in cheek, but all is enjoyable and
quite entertaining, not to mention educational.
I’d love to see them in concert, their groupies are a
bunch of geeks, dressing in short sleeved white shirts,
dorky black wire rimmed glasses, and narrow ties.
I’d go just to see THAT!
But I’m a little odd anyway…

Greeting Cards

Brian Regan off of his 2016 “Standing Up” recording.
Some great lines here, from one of the best stand-up
comedians to ever grace a stage.
I can picture the Blank Inside guy waking up every
morning with a huge grin on his face…

Home Sweet Mobile Home

A neat little number by The New Duncan Imperials.
Off of their Greatest Bits recording from 1999.
Some dark sneaky lines in this one.
I love their no nonsense approach to the craft.
Decent musicianship, the lyrics are interesting, and
they love what they do.
Drinking beer in the front yard on a lawn chair, there
are worse things to be doing…

The Penultimate Supper

The Holy Grail (yes, pun intended!) of this sketch was the
live performance they did at the Hollywood Bowl back in 1982.
I’ve seen all sorts of versions of this skit, but this one, with
Eric Idle, is my favorite.
Superb stuff, there is nothing better on any level.
I lose it when he says “One?!”…
