Andy Woodhull with whimsical look at boats.
sort of.
He raises some interesting points.
Can you truly love boats that are not your own?
If the answer is yes I’d suggest bringing a life
jacket just in case, that boat might not like YOU.
Water craft can be fickle…

Wolf Creek Pass

C.W. McCall, aka Bill Fries, with a humorous
look at haulin’ cluckers!
That rolls well off the tongue, I said it three times
just to savor it.
Bill worked for an advertising company where he
created a successful television campaign for a local
bread company, featuring the character C.W. McCall
as a truck driver who frequents his favorite truck stop.
Bill took that persona and created a musical entity
with which to perform his humorous little ditties.
He also had a high charting single with “Convoy” back
in the 1970’s when CB radios were all the rage.
Great lyrics and nice visuals!
If I ever put a band together I’m going to name it
Haulin’ Cluckers…

Dead Parrot/Lumberjack

This is a real treat!
One of MANY variations of a theme, they did
quite a few of these, with slight changes here
and there, over the years.
For those of you familiar with the Barber Shop/
Lumberjack segue this might be a bit of a twist.
The two principals are here, Cleese and Palin
at their very best!
Mute slug not withstanding…

Home Sweet Mobile Home

The New Duncan Imperials with an ode to those
that can park their domicile anywhere they want.
I lived in a mobile home for a while, not too bad
all in all but certainly not my first choice for
living quarters.
Some great lyrics here.
I wouldn’t dig in his garden if I were you…
