True Facts: Frog Fish

A funky little fish indeed.
Ze Frank with an interesting look at a swimmy thing
that is far too ugly to nibble on, even if famished.
Not much of a swimmer, this aquatic inhabitant has a
very high bowling average and can often be seen
practicing late into the night at an alley near you.
A distant cousin of the puffer fish it doesn’t have any
poisonous attributes but it can ruin your credit
rating if allowed to use a computer.
They are good with children and make great pets…

Tootsie Rolls and Dead Butterflies

Andy Hendrickson with a humorous set on relationships,
marriage, and which bridge closest to you would be the
best to jump from.
Andy’s a great stand-up comedian, he’s got all the tools.
I play him on the show to good reviews.
Some of his best jokes are about being married or dating.
You would think that would be low lying fruit but he
brings something fresh to the mix, he makes it work.
Keen insights…

Bright College Days

I almost wrote that as Bright College Daze.
Same thing, more or less.
The immortal Tom Lehrer with yet another
classic by one of the funniest song writers of all time.
It’s the time of year where school is just getting back
in session, or as I like to call it, the first phase of
Freshman Fifty.
That’s where you gorge yourself on Ramen Noodles.
bad pizza and Otter Water (domestic beer!) and put on
at least several pounds in your first year.
Nobody better at intellectual snark than Tom Lehrer, he
invented the concept…

Psychiatric Counselor

One of my favorite British comedy sources of all time.
Red Dwarf is a low budget sci-fi televison series that
ran on the BBC for several years back in the 90’s.
Witty, clever, and very entertaining it’s a show that I
highly recommend to anyone that loves great humor.
Rimmer is an annoying hologram, Lister is the only
living human crew member, and Kryten is the ships
robot, the latter being interviewed in this scene.
Quirky and highly enjoyable.
I love the back and forth in this session…

Marriage Magicians

The late, great Richard Jeni with a funny set on marriage.
When he had the snark going there was nobody better.
I miss his live shows, I first saw him at the Montreal
Comedy Festival and was blown away as to how gifted
he really was.
Everybody should have the right to lose half their stuff…
