Not Hard. Starting With a Light Tap…

This Not the 9:00 News piece is from their BBS Television
series that aired from 1979 to 1982.
Griff Rhys Jones and Rowan Atkinson star as Constable
Savage and his supervisor.
The constable has issues, lots of them apparently.
Some great lines here…

A great piece by Tommy Ryman off of his newest
recording Having the Time of My Life.
He plays the geeky guy quite well, all good stand-up
comedians have a shtick, this one certainly works
well for him.
Tommy has gotten better with age, I started playing
him a few years ago, he has improved to the point
to where I put him on the go-to list if I need a
guaranteed laugh.
He failed at Hangman, Let’s hope that doesn’t set
the stage for his marital endeavor…

This is a superb creation by Montreal native Jon Lajoie.
Very well done, a parody of sorts but so much more.
Great performances, the satire is quite enjoyable, and
it’s just plain fun to watch.
And his singing voice is not bad at all.
Great job, Jon, keep ’em comin’…

A superb comedy sketch from the old
National Lampoon Radio Hour days,
with Brian Doyle-Murray and John Belushi.
Some great lines here, one of my favorite
skits of all time!
Go on, hit him, he can take it…

Dan Cummins can be a little dark and cynical.
Okay, a lot dark and cynical.
I have to agree with him on this one, the web slinger
is overrated, not at all effective unless surrounded by
high rise buildings and large bridges.
Besides, he’s horrible with the ladies and I hear dogs
don’t really like him either.
Rumor has it Aunt May thinks he’s a gimp.
It’s almost like a radioactive worm nibbled him.
Could be me…
