The Kissing of the Sheriff’s Wife

A splendid song by a very talented band.
I interviewed Darby O’Gill back in the 90’s and
had a nice conversation with Scott Messer the
lead singer, I came away very impressed.
Primarily an Irish oriented act, they sing songs
of the old country with a heck of a lot of humor
thrown in for good measure.
Great musicianship, excellent lyrics, and
a top notch performance, this piece rocks!
Gotta love that word play, very well done…

Pet Shop

A gem of a dark piece by Monty Python.
Not to be confused with The Parrot Sketch, this is
as sick as they’ve ever gotten.
Cleese is superb, Palin even more so.
Not your typical pet emporium…

Last Call from Jail

This is a really funny piece by Kathleen Madigan
off of her 2018 Bothering Jesus recording.
Kathleen’s a riot, I’d love to see her live on stage.
She brings irreverence to the party on this one.
Don’t drink and drive, but if you must at least
remember this great slice of stand-up.
Calling 911 has never been funnier…
