Two Dreadful Children

Cruella de Ville with a fanciful, and frightening,
tune of prepubescent evil doing.
I was being snarky, but it’s not far off.
That song has eluded me over the years, I first
heard it many moons ago and all I could find
was a bootleg with iffy sound quality.
The band was from Northern Ireland and made
a name for themselves in the early 80’s as a post-
punk/Gothic Rock act with a strange sense of humor.
I have since procured a remastered copy and will
play it with fervor on the show.
I can’t help but think that Shel Silverstein would approve…

Garlic Bread

You Suck at Cooking with a tasty treat the
whole family should enjoy.
And it for some strange reason they don’t,
Uncle Bela gives it a thumbs down perhaps,
then eat their share!
My mouth watered the whole time I was
watching this, I changed my shirt twice.
How the Hell many dogs does this guy have?!
Scrumptious on many levels…

Daycare and College

Juston McKinney with an entertaining look
at education for the little one.
It starts early, the hair pulling, the expense,
the inconvenience, the despair.
I’m talking about the potty training.
What did you think I meant?
Juston is a very funny stand-up comedian.
Always good for a laugh or three.
He has the snark and the angst, that’s rare,
usually it’s one or the other but not both.
He pulls it off quite nicely.
And I’m not saying that because he’s from
New Hampshire and he gave me a great interview
with a show ID to die for.
Seriously, one of the better ones on the circuit.
