The late, great Mike Nichols was born back in 1931.
Mikhail Igor Peschkowsky as he was named was
an American film and theater producer, director,
actor and comedian of very high repute.
He became very well known for his partnership with
Elaine May in the 1950’s and won a Grammy for best
comedy recording while working with her.
I cannot say enough about his talents, some of the
movies he has worked on are considered classics by
many in the industry and his theater work is also
held in high acclaim.
This is a piece that I absolutely love for the irreverence
and its audacity, I play this on the show every chance I get.
Elaine May is the patient and Mike is the doctor…

This weird gem was a hidden track from Styx
off of their 1973 Serpent is Rising album.
It’s childish, silly, and not at all serious.
Three great reasons to give it a listen…

I’ve been trying to figure out a way to post me
some Letterkenny, but the show, as absolutely
hilarious as it is, can be pretty profane.
Even so, I highly recommend it to anyone who
can receive it in your area, adult material or not.
It might be because I have a lot of Canadian in me
but I think this series is outstanding.
With a comedic approach like no other.
The naughty bits are relevant to the script and the
performances, it is not gratuitous, not really.
Some of this had me laughing out loud, like most
of the show in general.
Brings new meaning to the phrase “How do you like
them puppies?”…

This is a very interesting, and funny, piece by Greg Warren.
The material here is classic, I play it on the show, Greg does
a really good job and I consider it to be some of his best.
What makes it really entertaining for me is he acts the
material out as a sketch, combining two of the three
essential comedic food groups together in one application,
stand-up and sketch comedy.
If he could have managed to sing some of it he would have
had all three in one performance.
Well done, it’s certainly a novel way to present it.
He’s a strong comic and he keeps getting better.
I want to sit in THAT section…
