Windstorm Upgrade

Brad Upton with a humorous set on high winds,
barbecues and tire chains.
He’s a pretty good stand-up comedian, not a
Spring chicken but with age comes quality.
His timing and material are great, not his
Winter driving skills though…

Pandas

Corky & The Juice Pigs with a classic tune about
those dangerous bamboo chewing killer ursine
we all know and love.
Never trust anything that looks that cute.
That’s my philosophy and I’m sticking to it…

Chocolate Cake Sandwich

Yet another culinary treat from the YSaC crew.
This one is giving me mixed signals.
Is it a meal, or is it dessert?
Does it really matter?
I knew something was up when he designated
this is a Wangjangle Free Zone.
Go with it, it has a happy ending.
Order now and you get one of those Doneness
Thermometers absolutely free…

The Meanest Internet Comment

This is a pretty clever set by Mike Lawrence.
His act is fresh, he’s got a style all his own with
some serious insight into the human condition.
He comes close to being a bit over the top but
knows just when to pull back.
I agree with him about Star Wars, for those very
same reasons.
Ludicrous Speed beats Hyperspace, everybody knows that.
Contains a few words that might cause Grandma
to spit out her dentures, low level stuff all in all.
Some really great lines here…

The Frozen Logger

The Weavers with a tremendous folk song
of epic proportions, especially when it’s cold out.
Like it is right now, the usual January freeze.
Pete Seeger, the lead singer on this tune, was an
exceptional human being who devoted the
majority of his life to humanity and social causes.
His bio is the stuff of legends, he often went way
out on a limb to support the downtrodden and
the less powerful, with disregard to his own
reputation and career.
Lived to the ripe old age of 94 with much to be proud of.
I’m sure he stirred his coffee with his thumb…
