I’m the Urban Spaceman

Neil Innes passed away just recently and I posted
one of his signature tunes to note that fact.
This piece was The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Bands
most successful single.
Sung by Neil in a very earnest way, the contrast
with the rest of the band is breath taking!
They were way ahead of their time, even today
most of what they did is still highly entertaining.
Live with Neil, Vivian, Roger, “Legs” and the boys.
I’ll say it again, R.I.P. Neil, you done good…

The Bridge of Death

A great slice of a classic comedy flick.
Monty Python and The Holy Grail is as good as it gets.
It took a month to film under less than desirable
conditions, Michael Palin wrote a daily diary log
noting all the obstacles they faced.
Terry Gilliam plays the bridge keeper, otherwise
known as the old man in scene 24.

Ever Told a White Lie?

Christophe Davidson with a cerebral look at
telling the truth, and lying when it’s convenient.
I too noticed that little incongruity when I was a
wee lad, my parents would scold me for not being
honest and a minute later would tell me that Santa
wouldn’t come this year if I didn’t stop choking my sister.
One of many fibs that confused me over the years.
We all do it, path of least resistance usually, when it
is easier than telling the truth you go with the lie.
Life is like that…
