Liam’s Off His Diet

John Pinette with a classic piece of culinary confusion.
He was one of a kind, a unique talent that shuffled off
this mortal coil way too soon.
One of my best times in Montreal was seeing him live
when he was at his peak, he made me laugh out loud
on more than one occasion.
As I stated earlier, classic John Pinette…

Heywood Banks with a tail of feline woe.
Nobody like Heywood, he’s one of a kind.
Fluffy bought the farm!
Or did he…?

Hale and Pace with an art appreciation piece.
Mr. Hale has done lost his marbles…

David Crowe with a humorous look at sports.
Dry and cerebral with a touch of incredulity.
Scepticism is healthy in a stand-up comedian.
As it is in all walks of life.
Especially when it comes to bowling on the radio…

Jon Lajoie has some real talent.
Great vision, first and foremost.
This is a sweet parody of just about any TV commercial.
All of them actually.
What makes it superb is its insight, its understanding
of product placement and the psychology of marketing.
It reveals, entertains, and informs, never losing track of
the cynicism involved in the average ad campaign.
Jon’s also a pretty good singer and songwriter.
And he has a sublime sense of humor…
