Ferrill Cynch

Robert Klein with a parody of a typical
television commercial touting the
diversity and public good your average
greed driven brokerage house warrants.
Which is to say, none at all.
I loves me a good parody.
A couple of naughty bits that might make
Grandma throw things at the dog.
Put the old gal outside on the leash ’til it’s over…

Organ Transplants

Tim Young with a humorous set on donating
your body parts after you’ve bit the big one.
Tim’s a funny stand-up comedian, one of the
better ones on the circuit.
Actually, I erred, it’s donating your body parts
BEFORE you bite the big one.
The agreement happens while you’re still alive
and the harvesting comes afterwards.
Unless, of course, you die horribly in a police
shoot out…nobody wants used parts from a
bullet ridden corpse with a criminal record.
Common sense would dictate…

A Battle of Wits

A classic scene from a classic movie.
So many lines to quote in this flick it’s
laughable…and that’s the point!
This is a superb slice, and a great example,
of what these actors were capable of.
Mandy Patinkin (Inigo Montoya) and
Wallace Shawn (Vizzini) duel for the
fate of Robin Wright (Princess Buttercup).
The duel is cerebral.
A great piece of cinema…
