You Smooth Talker You!

John Mulaney with a very funny piece
on self censorship.
His logic is impeccable, as is his knowledge
of Willy Wonka and the slave trade.
Clever bit…

Henry Phillips started off as a folk singer of sorts.
His in between song banter made the audience laugh
so he took that as an opportunity to expand his act.
I interviewed him a while back and he told me
that once he got the comedy ball rolling he never
looked back.
He has since dabbled in stand-up comedy and in
between his songs he really gets the audience to
embrace the mirth for all it’s worth.
There’s one naughty bit at the two minute mark,
wrapping many yards of cellophane around the heads
of any children, old people, pets, garden statues, and
farm animals you have lying around might lessen
the impact of said profanity…

Homer does the cartoon thingy!
It’s hilarious, almost Tom and Jerry like
in its approach, with a bit of Looney Tunes
thrown in for good measure.
A homage for the ages.
Homer avoids the drone, to a point…

Costaki Economopoulos with a smart set
about traditions and rice cakes.
Costaki is one of the more intelligent
stand-up comedians out there, I love
to play him on the show.
Always a pleasure…

that Cigarette!
Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen
with a song of regret.
I smoked for years, had to quit or die.
Hardest thing I’ve ever done.
I feel your pain…
