Service Please

John Pinette when he was on top of his game!
He was very animated, facial expressions and
body language were never better.
The late, great JP will live on, his performances
are far too good to just fizzle out, so we keep it
going to show the younger, up and coming comics,
how it’s done.
I was fortunate to see him live on a few occasions.
He never disappointed.
Somebody give this man a coffee…

The Uptown Poker Club

I believe I posted this once before, about a year ago,
but if it has been sooner than that I apologize.
It’s a fascinating piece, performed by one of the few
Chet Atkins approved Certified Guitar Players.
Jerry was a very gifted guitar player, a better than
decent actor, not a bad singer at all, and a pretty
funny human being, as this song shows us.
He was quite the character, and all my inquiries
lead me to believe he was also a great person to
deal with, he will be missed.
And he hated it when you dealt from the bottom
of the deck…

History of English

A humorous overview of the English language
brought to you by The Open University.
A smart look at how the language has progressed
over the many years it’s been around.
Some funny bits here, lots of educational material
as well, a great combo for sure.
Just a little over eleven minutes but well worth your time…

Beer vs Coffee

David Crowe with a humorous look at
the liquids that drive us as a society.
He’s not wrong but it can be both as well.
One for the morning, the other at night.
Or, if you are unemployed, reverse it.
Providing, of course, you have no interviews
lined up for that afternoon…
