Uuurp!

Dan Cummins at his most carnivorous.
Personally, I’m a vegetarian, but I do have a
sense of humor, this is a funny bit no
matter what your culinary preferences.
I also find it kind of hilarious to imagine
that when these incidents have occurred
throughout history (too many to count)
that when the search party finally arrives at
the scene they always find a smiling fat guy
with indigestion surrounded by a pile of bones.
With just a touch of sauce (?) on the corner of his
mouth perhaps.
Could be me…

Professor Elemental with a really cool video
referencing a boatload of time travel memes.
Chap Hop is where it’s at, the usual rap stylings
with all the intellect and British stiff upper lip
that you can handle.
There’s some Douglas Adams, Monty Python,
Bill and Ted, Back to the Future, and many more.
I like it…

Tired of your present dead end job?
Wish that you could be, and do, something more?
Like the idea that you could end anybody’s life with
just a slight pull of a trigger?
Law enforcement could be for you!
The Whitest Kids U Know with a job offer…

Greg Warren with a really funny piece on
amphibians and the havoc they create for
people who fly.
Greg’s hilarious, a very polished comedian
with talent to spare.
He won…

Spring has sprung!
Not that you’d know it around here.
It has snowed at my house the last two days
and there’s supposed to be several inches
of the white stuff coming tomorrow.
This is more of a hopeful “Get it over with!” thing.
As with all of the seasons I have a favorite piece
that I like to open it up with.
Spring is always going to be the immortal Tom Lehrer.
Yes, the fully orchestrated version, anything else
would be a cry for help.
I got silly, I was taken with the notion of Winter finally
going away and allowing all those wonderful black flies
and mosquitoes to return in full regalia.
Maybe silly isn’t the word…insane would be more like it.
A wonderful piece by Stan Freberg and Daws Butler.
Out of all the folks that have done voice work over the
years I would have to say that Mr. Butler was the most
versatile, it amazes me that he was capable of so many
different speech patterns and accents with no two
sounding alike, definitely right up there with the best.
And he was correct, there was no party.
And C is most definitely for Cookie!
Da Vinci’s Notebook is/was awesome.
Walter loves his gravy.
Daniel Tosh is still one of the best stand-up comedians ever.
