This is a slightly dated but still quite entertaining comedy
sketch by Not the 9:00 News, a British television program
that aired in the early 80’s.
A spoof on the back and forth that management and
unions utilize when contracts need to get done.
I’d take the swivel chair…

I Know the Feeling

What I Learned in College
The first time I saw Tom Parks perform I was very impressed.
He had good flow, fresh material that was excellent, great
stage presence and he was not at all full of himself.
He kept getting better, got a role on an American television
program called Not Necessarily the News and really
impressed the masses, me included.
He had a few comedy specials but never hit superstardom
like he deserved to.
I consider some of his material to be classic, it’s that good.
This touches on some of it, his expensive foreign language
education is the core of it.
I’d love to find more of his material on the net, even better
would be stuff that I could play on the air.
Until then here’s a fan recording that doesn’t look great
but the audio is good enough to appreciate his performance.
One of the better standup comedians to grace a stage…

I Am Cow
Bovinity isn’t for everyone.
Only Cud Chewers need apply.
Supposedly there’s a herd of wild cows somewhere
in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
In the Summer they raid campgrounds and steal
all the butter out of your cooler.
The rascals.
The Arrogant Worms, doing what they do best…
They Be Frolicking

Something’s Wrong with Gilligan’s Island
Yeah? No Kidding!
The Vestibules with a classic.
This is a pretty funny piece if you know what Gilligan’s Island is.
If not, it’s confusing and not at all easy to follow.
I have seen every episode at least three times.
Couldn’t tell you a thing about the plot, what dangers they
faced or if they ever got “rescued”.
I CAN tell you that Mary Ann looked awesome in shorts…
What the @#$% Did I Eat Last Night?!

Cribs
Daniel Tosh is a superb stand-up comedian, one of the
smartest, and most irreverent, on the circuit.
He takes irreverency to unheard of limits actually.
So far out that it almost comes back full circle.
The shock doesn’t truly hit because of the way he
presents it, over the top and unapologetic.
He can be so absurd it’s hysterical.
This is a funny piece, it spotlights where his mind
goes when he really lays it on.
And boy, does he lay it on…
