I Love Summer

A wicked funny tune by Heywood Banks.
Snarky times ten, a tongue in cheek diatribe
concerning his appreciation of Summer.
Or lack thereof.
Some superb lines here, I laughed out loud
on more than one occasion…

Betsy Ross and the Flag

I couldn’t let the 4th of July weekend go by without
playing yet another classic by Stan Freberg.
This one stars Helen Kleeb as Betsy, and Stan
himself plays the part of George Washington.
She really puts some emotion into the role, with
superb comedic effect I might add.
He wanted polka dots, she knew better…

Gravy Drinker

Jim Gaffigan with some helpful gastrointestinal observations.
I used to work with someone who always ordered extra gravy
on the side whenever we went to a KFC.
He would drink it like most people would coffee.
I always though he’d have a stroke by the time he hit thirty.
Remember kids, drinking gravy is like punching a Hell’s Angel
in the face, oh it might feel good for a few moments but you’ll
end up in a drainage ditch somewhere spitting out what’s left
of your teeth.
This piece ends at the halfway mark, Jim keeps rolling with
what seems like a non-sequitur of a comedic nature.
It’s HIS YouTube account, my complaints are being ignored…
