Take Some, You Know You Want To…

A classic bit between two old friends.
They go so far back together it’s almost funny.
Actually it is VERY funny!
Two legends, with a pedigree that is too
extensive to list here.
This is part of the 2000 Year Old Man sketch
that they created back in the 1950’s and
made very popular in the 1960’s, it charted
and was considered to be a beloved recording
by all who listened to it.
Lots of imagination here, well thought out and
enhanced by the improvisational skills of
Mel Brooks…it really works on many levels.
R.I.P. Carl Reiner, you done good, kind sir…

Greg Warren with a look at dining out.
A really strange look at dining out.
He keeps getting better, I’ve been following
him since early in his career and he has
really honed his talents.
I love to play him on the show, snarks with
the best of them, and he exposes much lunacy.
Always good for a laugh…

The Four Postmen with a really interesting piece.
Great musicianship, excellent timing and lyrics
that defy all that is logical make for a great time.
Do not try this at home!
It’s perfectly acceptable in the middle of the highway
though, so have at it…

This is an absolute classic by two of the pillars
of modern day sketch comedy.
Peter Cook and Dudley Moore were legends.
They started working in the 1950’s together
and never looked back…television series, movies,
comedy recordings, live shows, they did it all.
And they did it WELL.
This is a great piece, one of my favorites of all time…

Kellen Erskine working his magic.
He’s a superb stand-up comedian, one of
the best on the circuit.
Kellen has a low level snark that can’t be beat,
and he’s pretty cerebral as well.
One of my favorites to play on the show…
