An absolute CLASSIC by the immortal Tom Lehrer!
A huge influence on me as a child listening to the
Doctor Demento show on the radio, Tom was the
first person that I recognized as being a top notch
intellect with a very warped and twisted sense of
humor.
It proved to my young and impressionable mind
that you can be very intelligent and seriously
eccentric at the same time.
It affirmed my future goals in life.
He is still with us, and even if he wasn’t I’d do
my best to keep his material flowing.
He writes it, he performs it, he kills it.
Gotta love it…

Wallace and Gromit are simplistic and goofy but
quite fun to watch, this episode of Cracking
Contraptions is no different.
Wallace plays a wacky inventor and Gromit his
faithful pooch…who I might add is always able
and willing to bail his master out.
“I think I bent me tube….” (chuckle)

Or, Let Fear Rule, as noted on the actual recording.
A classic battle between a sober machine and a
drunken stand-up comedian.
Kyle Kinane is a very interesting comic, he is
certainly one of the funniest on the circuit.
His mind is out there, he thinks of things no one
else cares to ponder.
Can be a bit on the profane side, but all in all a
great comic with a style all his own.
Some great lines here…

A good, strong, humorous show this week.
Next week I promise to go back to the really
lame, irritating nonsense that I usually play.
