Open Mic Night at the Aviary

Country Dick Montana and the Beat Farmers with a
tune that sets the tone for the week.
Happy @#$%^&* Monday!
Hubba Hubba Hubba, Hubba Hubba…

Tripp and Tyler with a great little Pre-Flight Video parody.
I do so loves me a good parody.
Poking fun deadens the pain and makes things much more
palatable, certainly works for me.
Some funny bits here…

I posted this piece the week of the late, great John Pinette’s
passing six years ago, and I thought it would be a good idea
to do so again, being the last week of Summer.
That and the fact that I just drove by a Dairy Queen.
He was one dependable stand-up comedian, always good
for a laugh or three.
I had the privilege to see him live during the promotional
tour for his very first recording at the Montreal Comedy Festival
back in the day and I have held him in very high esteem since then.
Top Twenty Stand-up Comedian of All Time in my humble opinion.
He certainly has the material to prove that many times over.
This is a classic bit, some great lines here…

An oldie but a goodie from Victor Buono.
Victor played an evil villain named King Tut on
the old Batman television series, and had roles in
several other network shows over a twenty plus year
period beginning in the early sixties.
He was a fairly talented thespian and was nominated
for an academy award for his work in films.
He put out a comedy album in 1971 called “Heavy”
and this one of the cuts off of it.
Some great lines here…

The Frantics with an irreverent look at being overweight.
This is comedy folks, someone’s gonna get hurt, it’s only
fitting that the ones that will be can’t run very fast.
Survival of the fittest, not the fattest…
