Baseball vs Football

An absolute CLASSIC piece of brilliance by
the late, great George Carlin.
He had a few different versions of this, over
the years he would add onto it making it better
than the previous bits.
The word play is awesome, one of the best
stand-up performances ever done…

Army Careers

A wonderful piece of mirth from The Frantics.
Canada has produced some great comedy acts over
the years and The Frantics are at the top of that pile.
Superb sketch comedy on par with Monty Python, as
good as anything out there.
I like this piece for its shear audacity, the man certainly
knows what he wants, even if he is a little confused
when it comes to movie titles.
Some superb lines here…

King Kong

An absolute classic by the king of the one sided conversation.
That’s what Bob Newhart built his comedy career on,
an imaginary phone call with a person of interest, or a speech
in a room full of fellow employees at a retirement party, maybe
a group of fellow sailors onboard a ship.
It could be someone important, his boss, a co-worker, or
Sir Walter Raleigh.
You only hear him, Bob weaves you a picture in your
mind of what the other guy is saying.
He was so popular back in the early 60’s that his comedy
recordings actually charted and won awards for their
originality and humor.
He went on to even greater fame with his own television
programs in the 70’s and 80’s and his special guest
appearances on several other shows.
He is still with us, 91 years young, and that is a good thing.
Some very funny lines here…

My OCD

There’s something about this piece that rubs me the right way.
It’s probably because I’m a little OCD myself and some of the
visuals here made me laugh out loud.
You have to give Rhett and Link credit, they know how to
make a video that’s interesting, funny, and compelling.
They are very good at what they do…
