Get the Plunger and a Saw

This is an absolutely wonderful animation of
the classic ode to indestructible felines everywhere.
From the National Film Board of Canada.
I can’t figure out what I love more, the story or the
superb characters!
Poor old Mr. Johnson…

Universe and Everything.
From the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy flick
that came out in 2005, the question of the ages.
Douglas Adams was as good as it gets, a brilliant
mind and a hell of a sense of humor.
You’re not going to like it…

Jim Gaffigan with a pretty funny piece on
those that pick things up and put things down.
I used to work out at a gym, several of them
over the years, and this is pretty spot on.
I’ve seen them all, body builders, power lifters,
fitness buffs, and the assorted “not sure why
I’m here” types.
Come to think of it, I’ve said “Please don’t hurt me!”
many times over the years, mostly to the wife but
a few times in the gym…

Antsy McClain with a superb tune about biting the big one.
So to speak.
I love the sense of humor here, just delightful.
I know I posted this just a short time ago but this is the
“Full Version”, it has six more seconds of in your face
entertainment than the other one.
Mostly in the form of silence at the end but I’m not
going to question the artist’s motives here, he may be
trying to make a statement…

Bill and Ted Face the Music, the third installment in
the series, the Official Trailer.
It gets complicated but there’s forty minute bass solos,
tether ball, and lots of groove involved here.
Alex Winter is a pretty talented human being, I grew up
on Idiot Box, his delightfully ridiculous television
show that aired in 1990 and I’ve loved the guy’s sick
sense of humor ever since.
Keanu is Keanu, more power to him for squeezing that
much success from fairly limited acting skills.
Don’t get me wrong, he’s got more talent than a Bruce Willis
or Sylvester Stallone (so does my cat) but he’s no Pacino.
Did I just really date myself?
Together they make a great team, not to be taken seriously
but embraced in a lighthearted way.
They’re older, somewhat wiser, and they have love handles.
What’s not to like?
Death is back, it’s gonna be a wild ride…
